In 2003, LMF ensured the general secretariat and the financial management of the ECRIF – av operation (European Coordination of Regional Funds – Audiovisual). Placed under the auspices of the regional support fund Wallimage and supported by the Interreg III C programme of the European Union, this operation essentially aimed at promoting the good practices between regional funds and influence the regional policies in the matter.

This operation lead to the creation of  Cine – Regio AISBL which today has 33 regional funds from 12 European countries as members.

Since 2004, LMF became an associate of the EUROCINE 27 event initiated by UGC Belgium, which consisted on the Day of Europe, 9 May, of opening the UGC complex (De Brouckère and Toison d’Or in Brussels) to films from 27 countries of the European Union. The operation was such a success the first year that it has been  carried out in the following years for the UGC group in Paris, Strasbourg, Lyon, Rome and Madrid.

LMF ensures the programming of films for the entirety of this operation and successfully managed the last EUROCINE 27 which took place on 9 May 2009.
